Golden State Paving Awards Inaugural Scholarships to Two Outstanding Local Students

BUENA PARK, Calif. - May 2026 - As part of its 25th Anniversary celebration, Golden State Paving is proud to announce the recipients of its inaugural Paving the Way Forward Scholarship Program, an initiative created to support local students as they pursue higher education and take the next step toward their future careers.

This year's scholarship recipients are Samantha Maldonado of Schurr High School and Leontino "Leo" Segovia of El Rancho High School, who were each awarded a $1,000 scholarship in recognition of their academic achievements, leadership, community involvement, and commitment to their future goals.

The scholarship program marks an important milestone for Golden State Paving. While the company has spent more than 25 years building roads, parking lots, and infrastructure throughout Southern California, this initiative reflects a broader commitment to helping build stronger communities and investing in the next generation.
