About Ulises
Ulises Sandoval, Co-Owner and President of Golden State Paving Co., Inc.®, is a proud Southern California native whose roots run deep in both the community and the company he now leads. Growing up in the region, Ulises developed a strong work ethic early on, one that would shape his leadership style and commitment to excellence.
Ulises began working at Golden State Paving Co., Inc.® at a young age when the business was owned and operated by his father. Through years of hands-on experience, he gained a deep understanding of the industry from the ground up. He learned not only the technical aspects of paving, but also the importance of integrity, reliability, and strong customer relationships.
In 2022, Ulises and his wife, Haidee, proudly took ownership of the company, continuing the family legacy while bringing a fresh vision for the future. Under his leadership, Golden State Paving Co., Inc.® has reached new heights, driven by a renewed focus on growth, innovation, and delivering exceptional results.
A goal-oriented, community-driven, and family-first leader, Ulises believes that the foundation of Golden State Paving Co., Inc.®'s success lies in its people. To him, taking care of both customers and employees is not just a priority; it is the heart of the Golden State family. Outside of work, Ulises is a passionate boxing fan and an enthusiast of old-school vehicles. In his free time, he enjoys cruising with friends and family, embracing the same sense of connection and tradition that defines both his personal life and his approach to business.
